Today everything good is true
Just for today, pretend all the good things anyone has ever said about you — are all true. The praise your kindest teacher gave you, nice things friends or family said, lovely comments from strangers or people online. It’s all true. Every bit of it.
I’m a little late posting this today and this morning I had two random messages come in from people saying lovely things about me, which I’m accepting fully into myself and allowing myself to feel the intention and appreciation behind those words.
Too often we can skip over the kind, warm and appreciative things people say to us or about us. Today is a day for holding them close and feeling the truth of them.
As for the bad stuff, none of that is true, none of that is worth holding onto. It’s all lies about a former version of you — a you that doesn’t even exist anymore. The you of today is glorious and gorgeous and appreciated.
